ELGAR ’96 Series of Still Lives
The selected paintings presented here form part of a series of still lives which was inspired by “La Capricieuse” for violin and piano written by the British composer Edward Elgar. The series was exhibited by the Vafopoulio Cultural Center of Thessaloniki in 1998. The official exhibition catalogue was published under the title “Elgar ’96” in association with the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
